Tour description:
Eger is one of Hungary’s most popular settlements in north-eastern part of the country. We begin our journey on a motorway towards Eger. We visit a pretty termal resort on our way and we make a stop by a family runned winery. We visit a gorgeous thermal resort on our way and make a stop by a family runned winery. We drive afterwards to Eger, and begin our program in the city center on feet. We walk to the cathedral, the lyceum, also discover the remains of the city’s turkish monuments, the 40 meter high minaret and the old turkish baths and climb up to the Eger Castle in the end.
The programme followed in the Valley of the beautiful Lady! Here you will experience Eger’s wine cellars, taste the local winemakers’ masterpieces, including the famous Bulls Blood or the Star of Eger. We invite you for a delicous lunch while tasting quality white and red wines with a help of a local wintner. In the late afternoon, guest will be transfered back to their accomodation or to their pre-arranged location.
